Finding a house
Many people find renting privately is the best way to stay in a community of their choice and offers them the flexibility they require.
Any tenancy starting after November 2017 is a Private Residential Tenancy. These give the tenant more stability. More information is available on the Scottish Government Website.
Use the internet to search for a place to rent. Use a letting agent. Ask friends and family. Check local noticeboards and newspapers for more options. Speak to the Council’s Housing Options Team. Consider a mid-market rent:
