Facilities for hire
Highland Council offer various facilities for public and commercial hire. These are managed by the Facilities Booking Team and include some school kitchens, dining rooms and sporting facilities.
Bookings can be for single use, block bookings and one-off events.
An application form must be completed a minimum of 10 working days in advance of the event date and all lets are subject to availability. Please refer to our Terms & Conditions of Hire, and our supporting documentation, before completing an application form.
Charges are reviewed annually on 1 April and after that date will be subject to the new charges. VAT is chargeable at the current rate on sporting/physical recreational lets as per the conditions set out in Section 5 of HMRC Notice 742 Land and Property.
