Privacy notices - General enquiry

 Our general enquiries form enables customers to seek general information about any aspect of the services we provide.  In some cases a simple response will be provided by email and in other cases the enquiry will be transferred to another work stream e.g. missed bins, FOI requests, potholes or complaints.  

The purpose of the form is to give customers the ability to communicate with us whenever it's convenient for them. We need minimal contact details to enable a response to be sent. 

Without your contact details we will be unable to respond to your enquiry.

 The processing is necessary for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest. (Article 6(1)(e) of GDPR)

Your enquiry will be passed to the appropriate staff to provide a response. You will be informed if it is necessary to provide your data to any other organisations depending upon the subject of your enquiry.

The length of time that information relating to your enquiry will be retained depends on the issue that you are enquiring about. For example if the enquiry is treated as a complaint then the information will be retained on compliance with our retention schedule for complaints.

Your contact details will be retained in our customer relationship management system.

Your data is not subject to any automated processing or profiling.
