Privacy notices - eDevelopment site issues

This privacy notices relates to contact made to the Council via the on-line eDevelopment site issues form.  The Highland Council needs to collect your personal data so we can investigate and provide assistance to you if you are experiencing technical difficulties using the following sites - ePlanning (ePlanning.scot), eBuildingStandards (eBuildingStandards.scot) and the Highland Council Public Access (http://wam.highland.gov.uk/wam/).  We will only request the personal data from you we require to deal with your enquiry.  We may ask you to provide further information (such as screenshots) of what you were trying to do on our site when the issue occurred in order for us to assist you.

If you don't provide your name and contact details, we will be unable to provide technical assistance.

Contact via the eDevelopment site issues form is not published. Your data is used by us to assist and respond to your enquiry and to improve the services we provide. Your personal information is not subject to automated decision making or profiling.

The ePlanning.scot and eBuildingstandards.scot sites are managed by the Scottish Government in partnership with all Scottish local and planning authorities.  If your enquiry relates to these sites, we may need to pass your contact details to the Scottish Government in order for them to provide you with assistance in resolving your issue.  We recommend users read the eDevelopment privacy policy to learn more about the how Scottish Government will use your information.

The Council will hold your information for one month after we have responded to your enquiry.
