Description
We prepare forward planning documents for land use in the Highlands and supplementary guidance in relation to planning applications. We seek to engage the public in these documents and in some cases we are required to do so by law.
The key legislation is the Town and Country Planning (Scotland) Act 1997 as amended, the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Scotland Act 1997 and the Land Reform (Scotland) act 2003.
Your contact details are held on a database within our consultation portal and/or our SharePoint system, as appropriate, and are used to contact you about forward planning.
