Purpose
Scottish Welfare Fund -
Description
The Scottish Welfare Fund is intended to offer grants or in-kind support to provide a safety net for people in a disaster or emergency or when there is an immediate threat to health or safety (Crisis Grants).
The Scottish Welfare Fund also offers Community Care Grants to enable independent living or continued independent living, preventing the need for institutional care.
