We encourage responsibility and respect amongst our pupils, challenge them to be motivated, to work successfully and to attain well, while enjoying everything their school can offer them.We are a vibrant, successful six-year secondary school in the west of Inverness. With over 100 staff, including 70 teachers, we aim to provide our young people with a high quality education. Our extensive and engaging curriculum is supported by an unparalleled diversity of courses and qualifications which are enhanced by a huge range of wider curricular activities.Our catchment area, considered one of the most scenic, varied and impressive areas of Scotland, covers the City of Inverness west of the Caledonian Canal and the entire southern shore of the Beauly Firth. The landward area extends to Aigas and Struy and from there towards Abriachan, Lochend and the shores of Loch Ness.Our work with an extensive and growing range of partners allows our young people to extend their developing skills and knowledge through a huge range of interesting and challenging activities beyond the classroom. Excellent international links with schools in Botswana, South Africa and Sweden provide our pupils with opportunities for life-enhancing foreign exchange trips.We have a relaxed and welcoming ethos built on our core values of Respect, Responsibility and Achievement. There is a strong sense of shared responsibility amongst pupils and staff. We have an active and engaged Parent Council.
