School description
Millbank Primary School prides itself on providing pupils with a stimulating learning environment. We encourage pupils to be actively involved in their learning by setting challenging yet realistic targets, supported by staff and parents. Achievement is recognised and success celebrated in a variety of ways such as weekly assemblies, newsletters and displays around the school. We actively promote partnership between home, school and the wider community and have an active and supportive Parent Council. We are a health promoting school and offer our pupils opportunities to participate in various activities which promote a healthy lifestyle. We also offer opportunities for pupils to hold positions of responsibility within the school such as prefects, librarians, buddies, pupil council and Eco-committee. There are presently 9 English Medium classes, 2 Gaelic Medium classes and 2 Additional Support Needs classes.
