Purpose
Core Path Plan Consultations -
Description
The Highland Council collects this information for the purposes of consulting on its Core Paths Plan (s) which is a statutory requirement under the Land Reform (Scotland) Act 2003 (LR(S)A), Sections 18-20. The data is used to communicate with consultees about the changes to the Core Paths Plan (s) and to seek feedback directly to the Council officers comments relating to the work within the remit of the above Act.

Conditions for processing personal information
Public Task – We require to process personal data to perform a specific task in the public interest that is set out in law the Land Reform (Scotland) Act 2003.
Legal Obligation - Article 6(1)(c) provides a lawful basis for processing where processing is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation to which the controller is subject. -

Who we share your information with
Other than for the consultation and any associated Council committees, meeting agendas/minutes etc., your personal details will not be shared with any other parties.

How long we hold your information
For persons who have submitted a representation or objection to a Core Path Plan we will be required to hold the data for the period necessary for the Plan to be adopted. We may then keep details on record for future reference if any further changes are proposed to the Core Paths Plan(s).
