Purpose
Inverness Winter Fuel Payment -
Description
Inverness Winter Fuel Payment is intended to provide additional financial support to people living on low incomes and is available to people who live in the following wards: Aird and Loch Ness, Inverness West, Inverness Central, Inverness Ness-side, Inverness Millburn, Culloden, Ardersier and Inverness South areas.
This scheme opens for new applications on 1 December 2024 and ends on 28 February 2025 (a three-month period).The Inverness Winter Payment Scheme is funded by the Inverness Common Good. Those eligible will receive a payment to assist with fuel costs and to help heat their homes during the winter months (this payment is not a benefit). We will use existing data and the evidence uploaded by you to verify the information provided and to detect fraudulent claims.

If you don't give us your information
If you don’t provide personal data we will be unable to pay the fuel support payment into your bank account and payment will be credited to your council tax account if you have one.
