Purpose
£145 Local Authority Support for Living Payment (LISP) -
Description
At the Highland Council meeting on 22 September 2022, elected Members approved a package of support for low-income households.
A one-off payment of £145 each will be paid automatically to around 17,600 households who, on 31 August 2022, were in receipt of Council Tax Reduction and those who are exempt from paying Council Tax on the grounds of having a severe mental impairment, those who are providing or receiving care in a place other than their main home, and Council Tax payers who are aged under 18. This payment will be administered by The Highland Council.
We will use existing data and the evidence uploaded by you to verify the information provided and to detect fraudulent claims.
