PROPOSE TO CONSTRUCT ONE SPEED CUSHION ON C1167 LETHEN ROAD, ONE PAIR OF SPEED CUSHIONS ON B9101 FORRES ROAD, ONE RAISED TABLE ON FORRES B9101 FORRES ROAD, ONE RAISED ZEBRA CROSSING ON B9101 HIGH STREET / FORRES ROAD, ONE PAIR OF SPEED CUSHIONS ON B9101 HIGH STREET AND ONE RAISED TABLE ON B9111, AULDEARN
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that The Highland Council, in terms of the powers contained in section 36 and 37 of the Roads (Scotland) Act 1984 as amended and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf propose to construct:
- One speed cushion on C1167 Lethen Road, Auldearn – located 257 metres south west of the U3199 George Wilson Road junction
- One pair of speed cushions on B9101 Forres Road, Auldearn – located 35 metres West of the U3199 George Wilson Road junction
- One pair of speed cushions on B9101 High Street, Auldearn – located 112 metres west of the U2984 Boath Road junction.
- One raised zebra crossing on B9101 High Street / Forres Road, Auldearn (raising existing school zebra crossing) – located 112 metres West of the U3199 George Wilson Road junction.
- One raised table on B9101 Forres Road, Auldearn (at existing build out) located 56 metres East of the Montrose Avenue junction.
- One raised table on B9111 Auchnacloich to Auldearn Road (at existing build out) located 75 metres West of the B9111, B9101 junction.
The proposed speed cushions are 75mm in height (max), 1600 mm wide and 1900 mm in length with approach ramp gradient of 1:8 and slope gradient of 1:4.
The proposed raised tables at the build outs are 75 mm in height (max), full road width and 4,500 mm in length with approach ramp gradient of 1:12. Ramp top and ties back into existing road level over length of 10,500.
The proposed raised table at the zebra crossing is 100 mm in height (max), full road width and 2600mm in length with approach ramp gradient from the east of 1:12 and from the werst of 1:14. Ramp top and tie backs into existing road level over length of 5400mm.
