THE HIGHLAND COUNCIL
PROPOSE TO CONSTRUCT 2 RAISED TABLES AND 2 PAIRS OF SPEED
CUSHIONS ON U1504 OLD GLENCOE ROAD, GLENCOENOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that The Highland Council, in terms of the powers
contained in section 36 and 37 of the Roads (Scotland) Act 1984 as amended and
of all other powers enabling them in that behalf propose to construct three pairs
of speed cushions on U1504 Old Glencoe Road, Glencoe to facilitate pedestrian
safer routes through the village and to Glencoe Primary school as follows:Description of the proposed raised tables:-
• The first raised table is 165 metres or thereby Northeast of B863, U1504 Old
Glencoe Road, Glencoe.
• The second raised table is 119 metres or thereby Northeast of U1740 Lower
Carnoch, U1504 Old Glencoe Road, Glencoe.
The raised tables are 75mm in height (max), full road width and 3000 mm in
length with approach ramp gradient of 1:15.
Description of the proposed speed cushions:-• First pair of speed cushions are 45 metres or thereby Northeast of B863, U1504
Old Glencoe Road, Glencoe.
• Second pair of speed cushions are 29 metres or thereby Northeast of U1740
Lower Carnoch, U1504 Old Glencoe Road, Glencoe.
The speed cushions are 75mm in height (max), 1750 mm wide and 1900 mm
in length with approach ramp gradient of 1:8 and slope gradient of 1:4. -
