Description
Adopted Supplementary Guidance
The Highland Statutorily Protected Species - Supplementary Guidance was statutorily adopted by the Planning, Environment and Development Committee in March 2013.
The guidance will aid applicants when considering development in relation to their responsibilities towards protected species.
The guidance sets out the key species to be aware of, the varying levels of protection afforded to them and how they should be dealt with in a development proposal to avoid breaking the law and to further the conservation of biodiversity.

Strategic Environmental Assessment
