Adoption counselling
This is a service for adults who have been affected by adoption. If you are an adopted adult you can access your records from the age of 16 years in Scotland and 18 years if it was an adoption granted in England or Wales.
To access your records we will send you a "Data Request" Form which you should complete and return to our service along with a copy of your birth certificate and any other form of identity, for example a passport or drivers licence.
