Information for householders and business waste customers

Bin Collections

Due to the adverse weather across the Highlands, there may be disruptions to bin collections in all areas.

Some garden waste bins are unable to be fully emptied as the contents are frozen.

If this affects you please leave your bin out and it will be collected as soon as possible.

Household Waste Recycling Centres (HWRC)

Grantown HWRC is currently unable to accept engine oil. We will update this when normal service resumes.

Grantown HWRC will be closed on Saturday 7 December 2024 to undertake necessary access road repairs.

Glass Collections

There are currently no disruptions to glass collections. If your local glass bank is full please let us know by emailing recycle@highland.gov.uk
