Information on waste services that are currently disrupted
Information for householders and business waste customers
Bin Collections
Christmas Collections:
- Wednesday 25 December 2024 collections will be done on Saturday 21 December 2024
- Thursday 26 December 2024 (Boxing Day) collections operating as normal
- Wednesday 1 January 2025 collections will be done on Saturday 28 December 2024
- Thursday 2 January 2025 collections will be done on Saturday 4 January 2025
If your bin is not emptied on the dates as detailed above, please leave it out and we will collect it as soon as possible.
Ardnamurchan collections during the festive period:
- Wednesday 25 December 2024 collections will be done on Tuesday 24 December 2024
- Wednesday 1 January 2025 collections will be done on Tuesday 31 December 2024
Household Waste Recycling Centres (HWRC)
All Recycling Centres will be closed on:
- 25 December
- 26 December
- 1 January
- 2 January
Grantown HWRC is currently unable to accept engine oil. We will update this when normal service resumes.
Grantown HWRC will be closed on Saturday 7 December 2024 to undertake necessary access road repairs.
Glass Collections
There are currently no disruptions to glass collections. If your local glass bank is full please let us know by emailing recycle@highland.gov.uk
