We are changing the way you recycle at home.
We will be delivering a new grey bin to households and changing your existing blue bin to paper, card and cardboard only. Find out more.
Important notice
If you have been delivered your new GREY bin.
- Please use your GREEN bin (some residents may have black bins) for recycling plastic, metal, and containers starting on the collection day on your new calendar.
If you have not received your new GREY bin.
- Please continue to use your BLUE mixed recycling bin

Plastic, metal and containers recycling
What we accept:
- clean plastic bottles
- clean plastic pots, tubs and trays
- clean cans and tins (including lids)
- empty aerosols
- clean food and drink cartons
- clean aluminium food trays
Please ensure all items are clean and dry
What we cannot accept:
- dirty and bagged recycling
- containers with food or residues of food waste (everything must be clean for recycling)
