Food hygiene
According to food hygiene regulations, all food handlers must be supervised and, or instructed and, or trained in food hygiene matters.
Training courses for people in the food industry are run by various colleges and private training companies throughout the Highlands. Courses are also available which offer specific training on Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point and Hazard Analysis Systems. These are systems which look to identify food safety hazards and put measures in place to prevent problems occurring.
