Older People
The Older People's Improvement Group supports development and change across the whole range of Older People's services regardless of the provider. This coming together of sectors, users and carers enables the agreement of priorities for investment and dis-investment to meet growing demand and to ensure that the Health and Wellbeing outcomes for older people are achieved. Reporting to the Adult Services Strategic Planning Group the governance is provided through the Health and Social Care Committee, with performance reporting via a balanced scorecard and the monitoring of the Change and Improvement Plan. The group also enables the sharing of innovation, issues and risks as services are redesigned across Highland.
