Overview

John O’ Groats Mill Trust were awarded funding to purchase the John O’ Groats Mill - a regionally important B listed historic corn mill situated approximately ½ mile from the centre of the village. Future plans include restoring the Mill to working order to provide demonstrations and delivering training and educational opportunities to locals. This project aims to promote cultural awareness of this heritage asset, increase visitor numbers to the area and eventually provide jobs.
