There are circulated for approval Minutes of Meeting of the Licensing Board held on 15th March, 2005.
3. LICENSING FORUM
The Board is invited to give consideration to setting up Licensing Forum to provide a platform for discussion of licensing issues in Caithness. While a Forum will require to be set up should the Licensing Bill become law, there is no reason why a Forum should not be set up now.The objects of the Forum will be to review the operation of the Licensing (Scotland) Act 1976 within the Board's area and give such advice and make such recommendations to the Board as the Forum considers appropriate. It will not be a function of the Forum to review particular decisions, although the Forum may consider such matters as the licensing hours.
