A site visit by the South Planning Applications Committee to view the proposed Glen Etive hydro schemes will take place on Monday 18 February, 2019 at 12.00 noon.  The application will be determined at the special meeting of the South Planning Applications Committee to be held on Wednesday 20 February, 2019 in the Council Chamber, Council Headquarters, Glenurquhart Road, Inverness at 10.30 am.

Monday, 18 February 

9.00 am - Transport for Members to site visit departs Council Headquarters, Glenurquhart Road, Inverness.

11.00 am approx. – Transport departs from Council Offices, Fort William “Charles Kennedy Building” following collection of Local Members.

11.30 am approx. – Transport departs from Ballachulish Co-op car park, Park Rd, PH49 4JS following collection of additional Local Members.

12.00 noon - Site visit commences at Layby near Etive Mor waterfall (first bridge on Glen Etive road).

Wednesday, 20 February

10.30 am - Committee meeting in the Council Chamber, Council Headquarters, Glenurquhart Road, Inverness.

You are invited to attend and a note of the business to be considered is attached.  Members are respectfully reminded to wear clothing and footwear appropriate to the site and weather conditions.

Webcast Notice: The meeting on 20 February 2019 will be filmed and broadcast over the Internet on the Highland Council website and will be archived and available for viewing for 12 months thereafter.

Members are reminded that during determination of any item before this Committee they must be present throughout the whole of that item, including the site visit, in order to be entitled to participate. 

Members are further reminded that mobile devices, including mobile phones, can be used for following the agenda/reports and delivering speeches but should not be used for any form of communication (text or tweet) during the site visit and meeting.
