There is circulated for approval Note of Meeting of the Chief Officers Group held on 23 January 2019.

3.    Impacts on Highland of the vote to leave the European Union

At the Chief Officers Group on 23 January 2019 it was agreed that an additional meeting take place to discuss the impacts on Highland of the vote to leave the European Union.

To aid discussion, there are circulated a confidential report that was submitted to the HIE Board on 12 February 2019 and a report that will be considered by the Highland Council on 7 March 2019.

In addition, Ch Supt Macdonald and LSO Middlemiss will provide updates from a Police Scotland and Scottish Fire and Rescue Service perspective, and the Council’s Head of Policy and Reform will provide a presentation from a Council perspective.

The Group is asked to consider any actions required by the Community Planning Partnership.
