3.    Developing Community Partnerships – Updates from Chairs

There are circulated updates from Community Partnership Chairs as follows:

The Board is asked to consider the updates and any risks and issues raised.

4.    Feedback from the CPP Development Day on 23 August 2019

There will be a presentation on the feedback from the CPP Development Day on 23 August 2019.

The Board is asked to consider and discuss the feedback and agree the next steps.

5.    Highland Outcome Improvement Plan (HOIP) Annual Report

There is circulated Report No CPB/08/19 on behalf of the Chief Officers Group.

The Board is asked to:

i.    consider and note the update from the HOIP Delivery Groups;
ii.    note the work identified at the CPP Development Day to progress the action plans and ensure appropriate linkage with Community Partnership priorities; and
iii.    note the CPP performance in relation to the key national performance indicators.

6.    Update on preparations for/impact of leaving the European Union

Verbal updates will be provided by partners.

7.    Local Child Poverty Action Report

There is circulated Report No CPB/09/19 by the Acting Head of Policy, Highland Council.

The Board is asked to consider and agree the Local Child Poverty Action Report for 2018/19 for Highland.

8.    The Highland Community Justice Partnership Annual Return

There is circulated Report No CPB/10/19 on behalf of the Community Justice Partnership.

The Board is asked to note the Highland Community Justice Partnership Annual Return, as appended to the report.

9.    Update on employment opportunities for people with previous convictions    

There is circulated Report No CPB/11/19 by the Chair of the Community Justice Partnership.

Members of the Board are asked to provide feedback on progress around section 2 of the report, and to consider appropriate nominees for the short-term working group described in section 3.

The report also reiterates the invitation to the employment event on 7 November 2019, which the Board previously agreed to support through attendance, particularly by HR staff, and promotion.

10.    Update on Presumption Against Short Term Sentences

There is circulated Report No CPB/12/19 by the Chair of the Community Justice Partnership.

The Board is asked to note the report.
