A Special meeting of the Highland and Western Isles Valuation Joint Board, meeting as an Appointments Panel will be held in the Leader’s Meeting Room, Council Headquarters, Glenurquhart Road, Inverness on Wednesday, 8 March, 2023 at 3.15 p.m.

Members are asked to consider whether they have an interest to declare in relation to   any item on the agenda for this meeting. Any Member making a declaration of interest   should provide some information on the nature of the interest and leave the meeting at   the appropriate time.  Advice may be sought from Officers prior to the meeting taking   place.

 

 

The Board is asked to resolve that, under Section 50A(4) of the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1973, the public be excluded from the meeting for the following item on the grounds that it involves the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in Paragraph 1 of Part 1 of Schedule 7A of the Act.

 

 

   There are circulated, to Members only, for approval, the Minutes of the last meeting of the Appointments Panel held on Monday, 6 February, 2023.

 

 

Interview for the post of Assessor and Electoral Registration Officer.

 

In this connection, there is circulated to Members only the undernoted documents. 

 

a) A copy of the Job Specification and Person Specification for the post of Assessor and Electoral Registration Officer

b) A copy of the application submitted by the candidate

c) Candidate Scoring Sheet will follow.

 

The candidate has been asked to give a presentation at the start of the interview.

 

Thereafter, there will be set questions followed by any supplementary questions by Members.
