    The Highland Council’s Gaelic Team organised a very successful Gaelic Tutor Training Event in Eden Court last weekend. The event provided new training for ten Gaelic Adult Learning Tutors from both the Skye and Inverness areas.

    The Caithness and Sutherland Local Development Plan Main Issues Report (CaSPlan MIR) was published in October 2014 as a discussion document that set out initial ideas for what the plan needs to achieve for people and places in the area and the Council’s initial preferences for where new development might be located.

    Voters in Wards 1, 2, 3 and 5 of the Cairngorms National Park Election have until 4pm on Thursday, 19 March 2015 to return their postal votes for a community representative to serve their areas on the Cairngorms National Park Authority Board.

  • Seachdain nan Deugairean –Gaelic Immersion for Young People

    The Highland Council’s Gaelic Team, in partnership with Sabhal Mòr Ostaig, and with financial support from Bòrd na Gàidhlig organised the Gaelic Annual Residential event for young people which took place at the start of March at the Gaelic College in Sleat, Isle of Skye.
