Raigmore Community Council Cold Call Control Zone launch
Published 22 May 2017As part of Operation Monarda, a national Police Scotland operation aimed at tackling doorstep crime, Raigmore Community Council in partnership with Highland Council Trading Standards and Police Scotland have today (Monday 22 May) launched their Cold Call Control Zone (CCCZ). Covering the whole of the Raigmore area, the CCCZ aims to deter unwanted doorstep callers from calling on the communities 700 plus residents.

Chance for public to have their say on West Highland and Islands Proposed Local Development Plan
Published 16 May 2017A new document identifying a 20 year plan for potential future development across Wester Ross, Lochalsh, Skye and Lochaber areas has been published for consultation by Highland Council. The Proposed West Highland and Islands Local Development Plan, also known as WestPlan, was published on 5 May 2017 for an 8 week consultation.
