Temporary road restrictions in Inverness for resurfacing works

Drivers in Inverness are advised that sections of the C1199 Old Edinburgh Road, the U4175 Old Edinburgh Road and the U4146 Muirfield Lane will be temporarily closed to traffic next week.

The temporary restrictions will be in place from 8am on Monday until 6pm on Friday to allow for road resurfacing works to be carried out..

The sections of the roads affected are:

• C1199 Old Edinburgh Road starting at its junction with the B0853 Old Edinburgh Road (Part) – Annfield Road – Damfield Road (Part) – Culcabock Road to its junction with the C1197 Muirfield Road;
   
• U4175 Old Edinburgh Road starting at its junction with the C1199 Old Edinburgh Road and C1197 Muirfield Road to its junction with the U3852 Damfield Road and U2919 Old Edinburgh Court;
   
• U4146 Muirfield Lane from its junction with the C1197 Muirfield Road to its junction with the U4175 Old Edinburgh Road.

 The temporary closure affects all traffic so drivers should use alternative routes.
