Easter Ross Community Partnership Meeting
Issued by the Easter Ross Community Partnership
The Easter Ross Community Partnership will hold its second full meeting in Lecture Theatre, Tain Royal Academy, Scotsburn Road, Tain on Tuesday 4th April 2017 at 7:00 pm.
At a very well attended inaugural meeting in February the core partners representing education, health and social care, the voluntary sector, enterprise and the emergency services provided overviews of their remits. They all spoke about a shared commitment to identifying and tackling local inequalities.
Notes from the meeting can be found on the Community Partnership website, found at the following link www.highlandcpp.org.uk/er-cp-agenda-page.html
The meeting at Tain Royal Academy will be held in public and will focus on the three main strands of - Community Learning and Development, Community Engagement Strategy and Prioritisation of Locality Plan Development.
Community Partnership Chair, Mark Loynd of the Scottish Fire & Rescue Service, said,“It is vital that communities are actively involved in finding local solutions for local issues. The meeting will aim to further develop engagement with community groups and individuals to inform and support the work of the partnership”.
He added,“The first meeting felt very positive but the Partnership is under no illusion that these times are difficult for many. That is why local voices will be especially welcome to Tain Royal Academy on the 3rd of April to help take things forward”.
