The Highland Council Administration to be a coalition of three

The Leaders of the Independent Group (28), the Liberal Democrat Group (10) and Labour Group (3) have informed the Chief Executive of The Highland Council that they have agreed to form a coalition Administration.

The proposal for a majority Administration of the 41 Members of the 3 Groups will be put to The Highland Council meeting on 18 May for formal agreement. Office Bearers are to be formally agreed at this meeting, including the appointment of Cllr Margaret Davidson as Leader of the Council.
