Chair appointed to Badenoch and Strathspey Area Committee

Councillor Bill Lobban was elected as the Chair of the Badenoch and Strathspey Committee at its meeting today, 16 June.

At the start of the meeting, which scrutinised local Police and Fire Service reports, Members took a moment to reflect on the tragic events over recent days in the Grenfell fire.

Councillor Lobban said: “It takes someone very special to run into a burning building and our emergency services deserve our respect and thanks for everything they do.”
