Great British Beach Clean 2017 – Reiss Beach, Caithness
Why not join the Highland Council Rangers in cleaning up a beautiful slice of Caithness this weekend?
Thousands of people this September will take part in the Great British Beach Clean. By joining in over this weekend (15th-18th September 2017), you’ll be contributing to a national and global survey, and can meet other people who also want to help keep our beaches clean.
The great British Beach clean not only makes our natural environment safer and more appealing – but also contributes valuable data to a national survey of litter on beaches and rivers and ultimately helps to devise solutions to reduce the amount of litter in natural places.
If you want to be a part of this valuable survey, please come along to Reiss Beach on Sunday 17th September 2017.
The Rangers will be meeting at the car park beside Wick golf club. Gloves, litter pickers, bags and hot drinks will be provided. Stout footwear is recommended and if you are coming along please dress for the weather.
