Ross and Cromarty roads update (2)

A835 Ullapool- Ledmore, the road closure has been pushed back to the top of Strathcanaird Hill at the Langwell Turnoff. This will allow access to Rhue, Blughasary, Strathcanaird and Langwell only for the time being. The operatives are working towards opening the road as far back as Drumrunie Junction and are hopeful to have the closure pushed back to this point by this evening weather permiting.
C1047 Drumrunie – Achiltibuie remains closed but we are hopeful that we may be able to re-open later this afternoon. Roads to the townships have been cleared and roads are passable once again.
A832 Gairloch- Braemore Junction is passable and will receive a treatment this evening.
Lochcarron/Applecross/Diabeg-Salt levels high and all roads reported to be dry- no issues.
Mid Ross - No issues reported all routes patrolled and actioned and any seepage treated.
All East Ross route still being affected by drifting snow, and work is ongoing to keep the priority routes open and work towards opening some of the others routes. Increased resource for evening treatments has been arranged.
