Resurfacing road works on B862 and B851
Motorists are being advised that The Highland Council is currently preparing to carry out resurfacing works at the following locations:
- B862 Fort Augustus – Whitebridge – Torness - Dores – Inverness Road; specifically at Errogie Village (North Gateway), Errogie Village (South Gateway), and Compass Farm; and
- B851 Errogie – Strathnairn – Daviot Bridge – Culloden Moor Road; specifically at Aberarder House.
Advanced works notification signage will be provided at various locations from Thursday 15 March 2018.
The works are programmed to start on Monday 19 March 2018, between the hours of 9am to 4pm, and are expected to last for 3 to 4 days, depending on the weather.
Due to the single track nature of these roads, it will not be possible to carry out the works while traffic is still running on these sections, therefore it is anticipated that delays of up to 40 minutes can be expected during the works.
There will only be one site operational at any one time.
Motorists are asked to heed the advanced works notification signage that will be provided at various locations from Thursday 15 March 2018.
