Use your vote on proposed Business Improvement District for Nairn
Ballot papers sent to the 281 eligible voters for casting their vote on the proposed Business Improvement District (BID) area for Nairn should arrive no later than today (Thursday 5 July 2018) for return to Electoral Reform Services by no later than 5pm on Thursday 16 August 2018.
Eligible persons include non-domestic ratepayers listed in the geographical area of the proposed BID as of the 21 June.
Any person who thinks they are eligible to vote but has not received their ballot paper, or any electors requiring a replacement ballot must email The Electoral Reform Service at bids@electoralreform.co.uk or contact by telephone on 0208 8298408
The count will take place on Friday 17 August 2018 and the result will be announced shortly after.
The ballot will be conducted entirely by post on behalf of Steve Barron, Ballot Holder, The Highland Council, by the Independent Scrutineer, Electoral Reform Services of 33 Clarendon Road, London
The BID arrangements and proposals will be described in detail in the BID Business Plan, which will be issued to those eligible to receive a ballot paper.
