​​​​​​​Inverness road closures for parade

A number of Inverness roads will be temporarily closed on Saturday 28 July 2018 in the interests of public safety during the ‘All Under One Banner Parade’.

The temporary traffic prohibitions will affect vehicular traffic and will come into effect, and will remain in effect on Saturday 28th July 2018, during the times listed below and only then under the direction of a Police Constable in uniform.

• Ardross Street, Inverness, closed at its junction with Glenurquhart Road (A82 Trunk Road) to its junction with Ardross Terrace, between 13:00 hours and 13:35.
• Ardross Terrace, Inverness, closed at its junction with Ardross Street to its junction with Ness Walk, between 13:30 hours and 13:45 hours.
• Ness Walk, Inverness, closed at its junction with Ardross Terrace to its junction with Young Street, between 13:30 hours and 13:45 hours.
• Ness Bridge, Inverness, closed at its junction with Young Street to its junction with Bank Street, between 13:30 hours and 13:45 hours.
• Bridge Street, Inverness, closed at its junction with Bank Street to its junction with High Street, between 13:30 hours and 13:50
• High Street, Inverness, closed at its junction with Bridge Street to its junction with Castle Street, between 13:30 hours and 13:50 hours.
• Castle Street, Inverness, closed at its junction with High Street to its junction with View Place, between 13:35 hours and 13:55 hours.
• Culduthel Road, Inverness, closed at its junction with Castle Street to its junction with Old Edinburgh Road, between 13:35 hours and 13:55 hours.
• Culduthel Road, Inverness, closed at its junction with Old Edinburgh Road to its junction with Mayfield Road, between 13:40 hours and 14:00 hours.
• Culduthel Road, Inverness, closed at its junction with Mayfield Road to its junction with Southside Road, between 13:40 hours and 14:05 hours.
• Culduthel Road, Inverness, closed at its junction with Southside Road to its junction with Drummond Road, between 13:45 hours and 14:10 hours.
• Culduthel Road, Inverness, closed at its junction with Drummond Road to its junction with Cauldeen Road, between 13:50 hours and 14:15 hours.
• Culduthel Road, Inverness, closed at its junction with Cauldeen Road to its roundabout junction with Green Drive, between 13:55 hours.
• Culduthel Road, Inverness, closed at its roundabout junction with Green Drive to its junction with Balloan Road, between 13:55 hours and 14:25.
• Balloan Road, Inverness, closed at its junction with Culduthel Road to its junction with Castle Heather Drive, between 14:00 hours and 14:45.  

The Council have had regard to the safety and convenience of alternative routes suitable for the traffic which will be affected by the closures.
