Temporary traffic lights - Glenurquhart Road, Inverness

Near neighbours to Highland Council’s headquarters in Inverness and all motorists and cyclists using the A82 Glenurquhart Road are being advised that temporary traffic management measures will be in place on Glenurquhart Road, from Sunday 12th August at 19:00 hrs

Temporary traffic lights will be in operation at the corner of the Headquarters building, opposite the Bruce Gardens junction from 19:00hrs until 06:00hrs each night for a period of 4-5 nights.

The traffic management is required to construct scaffolding for works to be undertaken to stone chimneys and other stone repairs on the Council’s building adjacent to the A82.  

Once the scaffolding is erected the stoneworks will commence on 20th August, and are anticipated to be for a period of 2 weeks.  

Highland Council apologises for any inconvenience caused by the traffic management during the scaffolding erection period.
