Gaelic World Cup

Football Week and Summer Activities
The Highland Council Gaelic team organised Gaelic medium activities for children and young people during July and August.
The activities on offer included canoeing, gorge-walking, mountain-biking, fishing, drama and arts and crafts.
There were also new Gaelic World Cup football sessions which focused on developing skills and new techniques, delivered through a wide-ranging programme of challenging, exciting routines.
The football sessions took place in Inverness and were open to boys and girls across the Highlands between the age of 5 and 14 who are educated in Gaelic Medium; giving them the chance to take part in a safe, fun, and Gaelic immersion environment.
The coaches, Calum Ferguson and Donnie Forbes both have strong links with Inverness Caledonian Thistle Football Club.
