Moll Road Closure – Isle of Skye

The Highland Council advises that the U4853 Moll Road on the Isle of Skye south east of Sconser is closed until further notice due to a landslip which occurred at the Loch Ainort section of the road.

The Moll Road connects in a loop with the main Trunk Road A87.

Advance ‘road closed ahead’ signs have been located at various points along the Moll Road from its north and south ends at locations that allow turning. Access will be maintained to all properties but there will be no through traffic.

The damage to the road covers the full width of the single track road and includes a collapsed culvert.
