New Head Teacher appointed at Aviemore Primary School
The new Head Teacher of Aviemore Primary School is Emma MacCallum.
Miss MacCallum has been Depute Head Teacher at the school since November 2015 and was appointed by The Highland Council following recent interview.
Miss MacCallum said:
“I am delighted to be appointed as Head Teacher at Aviemore Primary. I have enjoyed my role as Depute over the last three years and I am looking forward to new challenges ahead.
“We have an enthusiastic and committed staff team who all work together to provide the best possible experiences for our learners and provide support for all of our children and families and I am proud to be leading that.”
The school roll is 270 primary and 80 nursery pupils.
