Temporary road closures at Sutherland level crossings

The Highland Council is advising drivers that temporary road restrictions will be in place while Network Rail undertakes work to two level crossings in Sutherland.

The U2810 Glen Loth - Kildonan Road will be closed for approximately 10 meters either side of Kildonan Level Crossing from 8am on Wednesday 20 March until 10pm on Thursday 21. Drivers are advised to use an alternative route will be available via the A897 Kildonan to Helmsdale - A9 Helmsdale to Lothbeg - U2810 Lothbeg to Kildonan Level Crossing.

The second temporary closure will be on the U2277 Rogart Railway Station Road to allow Network Rail to carry out work to the Rogart Level Crossing. The entire length of the road will be closed from 8am on Monday 25 March until 10pm on Tuesday 26 March. There are no alternative routes available to avoid this road closure.
