Temporary road closures in Inverness during parade

The Highland Council is advising all road users that a number of temporary road restrictions will be in place in Inverness during the afternoon of Saturday 23 March 2019. 

They are as follows: 

• Bught Road closed at its junction with the access leading from the Highland Archive Centre to its junction with Bught Avenue, between 13:45 hours and 14:35 hours, and between 15:25 hours and 16:15 hours;
• Bught Road closed at its junction with Bught Avenue to its junction with Ness Walk Upper, between 13:45 hours and 14:40 hours, and between 15:25 hours and 16:10 hours;
• Ness Walk Upper closed at its junction with Bught Road to its junction with Ballifeary Lane, between 14:30 hours and 14:45 hours, and between 15:20 hours and 16:05 hours;
• Ness Walk Upper closed at its junction with Ballifeary Lane to its junction with Bishops Road, between 14:35 hours and 14:50 hours, and between 15:20 hours and 16:05 hours;
• Bishops Road closed at its junction with Ness Walk Upper to its junction with Ardross Terrace, between 14:35 hours and 14:55 hours, and between 15:20 hours and 16:00 hours;
• Ardross Terrace closed at its junction with Ardross Street to its junction with Ness Walk, between 14:40 hours and 15:00 hours, and between 15:15 hours and 15:55 hours
• Ness Walk closed at its junction with Ardross Terrace to its junction with Young Street, between 14:40 hours and 15:00 hours, and between 15:15 hours and 15:55 hours;
• Ness Bridge closed at its junction with Young Street to its junction with Bank Street, between 14:45 hours and 15:05 hours, and between 15:15 hours and 15:50 hours;
• Castle Road closed at its junction with Bridge Street to its junction with Haugh Road, between 14:50 hours and 15:15;
• Ness Bank and Cavell Gardens Road closed at its junction with Castle Road to its junction with Island Bank Road, between 14:50hours and 15:20 hours;
• Island Bank Road closed at its junction with Ness Bank and Cavell Gardens Road to its junction with Haugh Road, between 14:55 hours and 15:25 hours;
• Haugh Road closed at its junction with Island Bank Road to its junction with View Place, between 15:00 hours and 15:30hrs;
• Castle Street closed at its junction with View Place to its junction with High Street, between 15:05 hours and 15:40 hours;
• High Street closed at its junction with Castle Street to its junction with High Street, between 15:10 hours and 15:45 hours;
• Bridge Street closed at its junction with High Street to its junction with Castle Road, between 15:10 hours and 15:45 hours.

In addition to these temporary road closures pedestrians are being advised that the Infirmary Bridge will be closed between 12 noon and 6pm on Saturday.
