Inverness road closures for 5K and 10K events

Motorists are advised that various streets in Inverness will be closed during the ‘Cancer Research UK’ Race For Life 5K & 10K events on Sunday 26th May 2019.

In addition to the closures listed below, the Infirmary Bridge will be closed on the grounds of health and safety:

• Bught Road, Inverness, closed at its junction with Bught Avenue to its con-junction with Ness Walk Upper, between 08:00 hours and 13:30 hours on Sunday 26 May 2019.
• Ness Walk Upper, Inverness, closed at its con-junction with Bught Road to its junction with Ballifeary Lane, between 08:00 hours and 13:30 hours on Sunday 26 May 2019.
• Ness Walk Upper, Inverness, closed at its junction with Ballifeary Lane to its junction with Bishop’s Road, between 08:00 hours and 13:30 hours on Sunday 26 May 2019.
• Ardross Terrace, Inverness, closed at its con-junction with Ness Walk and its con-junction with Ardross Street, between 08:00 hours and 13:30 hours on Sunday 26 May 2019.
• Ness Walk, Inverness, closed at its junction with Young Street to its con-junction with Ardross Terrace, between 08:00 hours and 13:30 hours on Sunday 26 May 2019.
• Castle Road, Inverness, closed at its junction with Haugh Road and its junction with Bridge Street, between 08:00 hours and 13:30 hours on Sunday 26 May 2019.
• Ness Bank and Cavell Gardens Road, Inverness, closed to through traffic between its junction with Castle Road and its junction with Island Bank Road, between 08:00 hours and 13:30 hours on Sunday 26 May 2019. Access to local properties will be maintained, from the junction with Castle Road.
