Guddling With Rangers On River Beauly

An afternoon of family fun has been organised by Highland Council’s Countryside Rangers on Friday 29th July on the banks of the River Beauly.

Corinne Hambly, Inverness West Countryside Ranger with the Council’s Planning and Development Service said: "We will be river dipping or "guddling" which is great fun for children of all ages and playing games to get into the watery way of thinking. We will even make some crafty creations inspired by the animals we find in the river, and create keepsakes for participants to take home and remember their underwater adventures."

The underwater world is a fascinating place full of weird and wonderful wildlife.

Anyone interested in joining Corinne to explore the River Beauly and its banks and make some watery creations should telephone 01463 724312 and make a booking for this event which is free.

Participants will meet on Friday 29th July at Kiltarlity from 2pm-4pm.

The Highland Council Planning and Development Service Countryside Rangers are supported by Scottish Natural Heritage.
