Flash flooding in Ross and Cromarty
Severe flooding has affected the roads in and around Dingwall.
Those worst affected are the A834 from the traffic lights at Newton road and High street Junction towards the Police station and West end.
The road will be closed until the water has subsided and any damage can be assessed.
The roads behind the main Highland Council Offices, 84 High Street Dingwall, at Gladstone Avenue has a road closure on the section on Gladstone Avenue at the entrance to the back car park. This closure will remain in place overnight.
All available Council operatives are on site dealing with the flooding issues and Boggan Burn levels have returned to normal for the time being.
