B851 Road Works at Inverarnie
The Highland Council are advising the public that road works on the B851 at Inverarnie Village will commence on Monday (26th August).
The works, scheduled to last 16 weeks, are for the construction of a new shared-use path and road improvements over a 600 metre stretch of the route from the B851/B861 junction to Dalvourn.
Traffic Management in the form of temporary traffic signals will be in operation for the purposes of road safety and therefore the public should expect delays, although these will be kept to a minimum. The Council apologise for any inconvenience.
In addition to the above works there is essential Safety Barrier installation being carried out on the B851 at the south end of Sockich Bends. This work is approximately 2.5 miles south of the Inverarnie works and will also start on Monday. During these works, which are expected to last for a week, temporary traffic signals will be in operation and again the Council apologises to all road users for any inconvenience.
