Proposed 20mph for Ballifeary area of city consultation underway

The Highland Council are inviting people to comment on the proposed 20mph Traffic Regulation Order (TRO) for the Ballifeary area of Inverness.

If the Order comes into force, the Order will introduce a 20mph speed limit on the following roads over their entire length, unless stated otherwise:

• U3778 Ardross Place (From its junction with Tomnahurich Street (A82) in an easterly direction to its junction with Kenneth Street (U4497)
• U4624 Ardross Street
• U4624 Ardross Terrace
• U3788 Ballifeary Lane
• U3790 Ballifeary Road
• U5151 Bishops Park
• U3813 Bishops Road
• U3821 Bught Avenue
• U3822 Bught Drive
• U4690 Bught Lane
• U3823 Bught Road
• C1201 Cavell Gardens
• U3879 Dunachton Road
• U4497 Kenneth Street
• C1201 Ness Bank
• U4624 Ness Walk
• U4158 Ness Walk Upper
• U5150 Riverside Gardens
• U4686 Springfield Court

The consultation will run until the 19th September and a drop- in session will be held at Council Headquarters reception on Glenurquhart Road on Tuesday 3rd September from 2-5pm for members of the public to speak with officers.
