Nomination deadline approaches for Inverness By-election

Prospective candidates for the Inverness Central Ward by-election have until Monday 14 October to submit their nomination forms.

The by-election is being held following the resignation of Richard Laird who was one of three Councillors representing Ward 14. The other Ward members are Councillors Janet Campbell (Independent) and Bet McAllister (Scottish Labour Party).

The Highland Council is reminding people who may be considering to stand that their nomination must be submitted 4pm on Monday 14 October 2019.
