Changes to loading and disabled parking bays – Inverness city centre
The Highland Council is advising motorists that changes are in place to some loading and disabled bays on Church Street and Union Street within Inverness city centre.
These changes are to allow contractors safe access for the refurbishment of the former Service Point Building at the south end of Church St Inverness where it is necessary to relocate some loading and disabled bays.
The contractor has requested occupancy of the Church Street loading bay for their works and the resultant changes to accommodate this request have been made under a Temporary Traffic Restriction Order.
To accommodate this, 3 disabled bay spaces next to ‘Lauder’s’ on Church Street are being amended for loading only Monday – Saturday from 8am – 6pm. Two additional alternative disabled bays are being provided near 'British Heart Foundation' (1 bay) on Union Street and on Church Street (1 bay) near 'Munro and Noble'.

These temporary suspensions will be in place until the 1st of March 2021.
