A city centre building owned by the Inverness Common Good Fund is now fully let thanks to extensive refurbishment and investment of £1.8m.

Highland & Islands Student Association collected the keys to the 3rd floor at 1-5 Church Street earlier this week joining Skills Development Scotland who occupy the ground, mezzanine and 1st floor and Pearson Vue who lease the second floor.

The project to refurbish the building included stripping it down to a concrete shell, creating an attractive new facade, internal works to create modern office spaces and the installation of a new lift to make the building fully DDA compliant.

The Provost of Inverness Helen Carmichael  welcomes the news that the building is fully occupied.  She said: “The Common Good Fund investment into this building has created much needed modern high quality office accommodation in the heart of Inverness and it is great to see the building in full use which also supports attracting footfall into the City centre.”
